8 Units - This is an excellent in-depth course for the beginning and/or intermediate artist who wishes to learn more about drawing and the study of value. Students will explore light and shadow with shading.  Techniques for creating texture and how they are affected by light and shadow will also be demonstrated. The instructor will offer numerous demonstrations and group critiques will be scheduled. This is a practical course where skills easily transferrs between drawing to painting. 8 Units
